The result of the move request was: move the page to Field of Corn, per the discussion below and the lack of other articles with that title. Dekimasuよ! 03:39, 29 October 2014 (UTC)
Cornhenge → Field of corn (Dublin, Ohio) – Cornhenge is not the official name --Relisted. Andrewa (talk) 13:35, 22 October 2014 (UTC) DogsRNice (talk) 17:52, 14 October 2014 (UTC) I've lived here since 1993 and have never once heard this installation called 'Cornhenge' -- although that certainly seems a natural nickname for the place. I expect that it's in use, but I can't say it's in wide use. Wouldn't it be more proper to have this article under the actual name of the installation, and then mention the nickname within the article? The Rev (talk) 04:27, 16 May 2013 (UTC)
Support - The Dublin Arts Council calls it Field of Corn (With Osage Oranges), it doesn't make sense to have the article name be the slang term.Comment - If there's evidence that Cornhenge is the more common name then keep the article as it is. Pishcal (talk) 14:29, 22 October 2014 (UTC)
- Relisting comment: The original rationale is contrary to policy, see WP:official names for an explanation. The other contributions so far provide a little evidence, but seem similarly motivated, also by a misunderstanding of the policy perhaps. Both subsequent contributions are also at least slightly at odds with what the article itself currently [1] says. More discussion and if possible some more relevant evidence and/or fixing the article is needed IMO. Andrewa (talk) 13:45, 22 October 2014 (UTC)
- Support - A google search for "Field of Corn" "dublin, ohio" gets over 25,000 hits while cornhenge alone gets a bit under 2,500.--Yaksar (let's chat) 16:10, 22 October 2014 (UTC)
- Support. Google Books search suggests Field of Corn (with Corn capitalized) [2] is more common than Cornhenge [3]. Zarcadia (talk) 17:02, 22 October 2014 (UTC)
