Railroads & Buffalo Kill?

[edit]

"The trackage that was laid by the FE&MV was acquired by the Chicago & North Western in 1903; Dakota, Minnesota & Eastern previously operated on the line and is now operated by the Canadian Pacific Railway." The Crawford portion of this RR track washed out in the 1991 flood and is now a walking path. (?) Also, I think the Buffalo Kill section is irrelevant to Crawford; it is totally unrelated to the history, development, and economics of the town. Thoughts? I'd support complete removal of the Hudson-Meng business from this article for the reasons you've brought up, and because the site is a considerable distance from Crawford. The RR business is poorly written and confusing; it's important enough to Crawford history to be left in, but it badly wants rewriting. Ammodramus (talk) 17:47, 12 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
All right, thank you! I'll see if I can get some primary-source reliable information sources for re-doing this article. Chevsapher (talk) 02:26, 13 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
