Crescent CityCrescent City (disambiguation)Crescent City, California is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for "Crescent City", per page views and search results. Crescent City should be redirected to Crescent City, California as a WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT. SSTflyer 13:21, 12 April 2016 (UTC)

  • Strong Oppose - there is no overwhelming automatic topic for this term in Google Books - the most common usage of which is Crescent City (New Orleans). In ictu oculi (talk) 13:58, 12 April 2016 (UTC)
  • Comment. My objection would be that Crescent City is a famous historical nickname for New Orleans. Most Google Books hits for the first several pages refer to New Orleans.[1]--Cúchullain t/c 14:28, 12 April 2016 (UTC)
  • Oppose, when considering the long-term significance clause of WP:PTOPIC, I don't think there is a primary topic. My first thought when I saw "Crescent City" was New Orleans, and per above, the nickname has some significant history. -- Tavix (talk) 00:47, 13 April 2016 (UTC)
