Other uses of the term
[edit]At lease some of these alternate meanings should be formatted as disambiguation. I'll try to get back to that shortly.
I disagree with the main definition. A crew is a team of people with a common aim, confined within a vessel of some sort - boat, aircraft, spacecraft etc. If you remove wither of those two definers - "team with common aim" or "confined within a vessel" then there are other better suited nouns - eg passengers, team, members etc. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.253.4.7 (talk) 00:42, 1 December 2012 (UTC)
- I agree with the above complaint, made ~10 years ago with no further comment.
- cf. wiktionary definiton [1] which includes 'A group of people (often staff) manning and operating a large facility or piece of equipment such as a factory, ship, boat, airplane, or spacecraft'.
- In some ways, I feel that if the disambiguation issue [which I added below] is accepted, this page might be completely merged into the disambiguation page which would then include a basic definition and a link to the wiktionary. -- jw (talk) 22:01, 26 April 2022 (UTC)
Dance crew in the Music ??
[edit]What does the line "There is a dance crew in the music says it has 5 speeds then each passing speed gets faster and practically that is all you have to do." I suspect its some vandalism and a joke I'm not getting, however I'm not sure enough to remove it out of hand. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.68.174.248 (talk) 06:17, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
I am sure enough, This sentence is poorly constructed and bears in it's current form no revelance to the subject and shoudl therefore be removed Numtek (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 23:38, 21 April 2009 (UTC).

Disambiguation
[edit]I feel that some (much) of the content of this article ought to be in Crew_(disambiguation) and is missing therefrom. As such it need not be in the article at all.
