Reason for conversion to DAB page

I have converted Dagar into a disambiguation page with this edit – for relevant details, please see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dagar. Only way to convert the above dab page into a clan article is by clearly developing consensus on this talk page that the Dagar clan is not only notable but also the primary topic here. BTW, burden of proof is on you, as you want to convert it into a clan article. There's nothing on Dagar (disambiguation) that gives an indication that anything other than the clan itself (i.e. Dagar) is the primary topic. I don't want to "convert" anything - there is page about a clan, and a link to the DAB page at the top. I see nothing wrong with this situation. Primefac (talk) 20:05, 23 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I guess we'd better wait for the outcome of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dagur clan. If its "delete", which is where it seems to be going, then I think it'll be quite safe to revert the current article to its dab page version. There won't be any need for moving any pages, as Dagar (disambiguation) is a fork of an earlier version of the article. – Uanfala (talk) 21:17, 23 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The Dagur clan article has now been deleted. I have reverted Dagar to the clan article and replaced the disambiguation page at Dagar (disambiguation). If anyone wants to propose a page move, please do so formally, noting that no moves of these pages can be considered "uncontroversial". PamD 09:23, 24 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
