Crticism Section
[edit]Do not undo criticism because you feel it was unfair. It is still something notable that happened. This is not a place for your opinions. Velostodon (talk) 17:37, 25 September 2015 (UTC)
Poorly sourced, contentious, libellous material
[edit]The section tagged weasel is Poorly sourced, contentious, libellous material. For example, the statements about the physical safety of the post do not jibe with the record. For 4 years in a row, El Paso was the safest city for its size in the relevant years of Pittard's tenure. I will wait for a response, and, failing a response, act on this material, per WP:BLP. --Ancheta Wis (talk | contribs) 05:42, 15 December 2015 (UTC)
All charges unsubstantiated
[edit]MG Pittard retired 30 Sep 2015 in a General Officer Retirement Ceremony at Conmy Hall, JBMHH, where he was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal (See the photos of his retirement ceremony.)
Pittard has pointed out that there is no recourse against the actions which were initiated by his anonymous accusers, as all charges were unsubstantiated. This is a process problem for the office of the Inspector General.

Awards and decorations
[edit]The General Officer Retirement Ceremony pictures showed that Pittard had 20 ribbons above his left pocket and 3 above his right pocket, + Distinguished Service Medal (U.S. Army) awarded on retirement. But the current list only accounts for 7. --Ancheta Wis (talk | contribs) 02:43, 26 September 2018 (UTC)
Bad Kissingen, Germany service.
[edit]He was commander of H Company during his service there. He was not E Troop commander. 2603:7000:193F:B34F:D908:CEF:628D:1E2C (talk) 17:35, 28 January 2024 (UTC)
