Check

[edit]

Please check your facts on when the Ramones first went to the UK - it was definitely not 1975. It could have been as early as '76, possibly '77.

He also was not based in Detroit but travelled there to see the MC5 as a representative of Elektra Records. While there the MC5 introduced him to the Stooges.

Also, to say Danny played himself in those movies listed is a bit redundant as they were all documentaries. Of course he played himself!

Relevant Article

[edit]

A new article on Danny Fields has recently been published by the New York Times. The title of the article is "He Was Present at the Birth of Punk, and he Took Notes." It was written by Charles Curkin on December 26th, 2014. There is an abundance of information in this article that could be beneficial to the Wikipedia article. In addition, the New York times states that Fields was born in 1939 whereas your article states that he was born in 1941. Maybe just double check the dates.
