Revisionist names

What's with the revisionism on some of the names here? From 1973 through 1990, the firm was Dassault-Breguet, not Dassault, and many of the models were named as such. —Joseph/N328KF (Talk) 05:59, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

Pronunciation of 'Dassault'

How does one pronounce "Dassault" properly in the original French? Is the "-ault" prounounced as "oh", as in Renault? This would make it "dah-so". Or are some other rules in effect here? Shreditor (talk) 21:45, 27 July 2009 (UTC)

This entire article reads like a company website.

As such, I have flagged it as an advertisement.

A large portion of the article was written entirely by one user, Aerolegende, who's edits since 2012-10-07 have exclusively dealt with Dassault related articles. Aerolegende's edits are of a distinctly non-neutral stance.

It is possible that the article is to long, as significant amounts of information on specific projects and history are included in the company article. I believe that some of this information is appropriate, but would be better placed in a separate “history of Dassault Aviation” article. However, some of the text is nothing but buzzwords.

I concur with your basic assesment. I noticed it's poor shapea few weeks ago, but I haven't had a chance to take action yet. In my opinion, it might be easier to revert back to an earlier version of the article, such as this one, and rebuild it from there. I don't see any citations for the newer history material, and even the older version is only about half sourced. - BilCat (talk) 07:11, 7 November 2013 (UTC)
