October 2008 NPOV Dispute[edit]

The Data Dynamics page was cited as not neutral. Indeed, I am a founding employee of Data Dynamics, but I've tried to write the article in as neutral way as I can and I have every intension of it being am informative article on a well established and widely known company (I am pretty sure every competitor, most of which are smaller companies that are less established already have very biased articles in wikipedia). I've cited numerous references (and can cite many more as needed) and I don't think that anything that I wrote violates the neutrality policy as there does not seem to be anything in the article that wrote about that is "where multiple or conflicting perspectives exist". Please help me understand how I can make this article meet the wikipedia guidelines for neutrality. --Scottwilleke (talk) 15:36, 6 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Data Dynamics page still has neutrality/POV and quality/cleanup tags on it from October 2008. I am more than happy to help clean it up but would appreciate some specific guidance on the problems in the article so that I can focus on the proper concerns. --Scottwilleke (talk) 04:04, 9 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

RfC: Move to Resolve October 2008 NPOV Dispute on Data_Dynamics[edit]

NPOV was cited on Data_Dynamics and help or suggestions for removing any bias to resolve dispute is needed. Please either make suggestions for removing the bias or an editor to remove the NPOV would be great. scottwilleke (talk) 19:10, 13 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think the format of the article lends itself to enciting NPOV. The lede is a brief summary of the company, but there is no detailed section describing the company. Instead, the article jumps right into innovation and a product timelinewhich may not meet WP:N. Both sections are written in a positive tones using only Data Dynamics as the sources. Sources should be found to demonstrate notability of the products, as the three reception sources are the only sources outside the company. —Ost (talk) 14:49, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Question About Redirect[edit]

User:Onel5969, User:JalenFolf, User:John B123 - I am puzzled. I see that there is a redirect from Data Dynamics to GrapeCity, but I don't see the connection. I see that a paid editor tried to create an article on Data Dynamics which has been reverted back to a redirect, but I don't see where Data Dynamics is associated with GrapeCity. What am I missing? Robert McClenon (talk) 17:42, 15 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Robert McClenon - Data Dynamics was acquired by GrapeCity in 2008, if you look in both the Timeline and Acquisitions sections on the page, you'll find it there. I've altered the redirect to be more specific. Onel5969 TT me 18:36, 15 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
