The contents of the Telecommunications data retention page were merged into Data retention on 11 August 2017. For the contribution history and old versions of the redirected page, please see its history; for the discussion at that location, see its talk page. |
Merge
[edit]I've suggested merging this from Telecommunications data retention. That article is better-written and more comprehensive, but this has the better article title. I think the only thing needing doing is integrating the Data Retention and Investigatory Powers Act 2014 content and Data Retention Directive strikedown into that piece, then overwriting this one and turning that into a redirect. Haven't checked that option, so I made some updates to the text here. On the part describing the EU-level and the Swedish part. Updates about the other countries would be useful. However, I couldn't reach the page where you can make simplified additions of links, so I wrote them out in the text. Someone with resources may want to help replacing the actual url:s with notes. - OOps, I noticed the merging has been done, good Onkel a (talk) 10:02, 6 August 2022 (UTC)
