The article says that he was born about 1723

I am not sure where in the sources we have a statement about his birth. We have sources that cover his military exploits a few decades later. Considering he was born in a place that was not using the Julian or the Gegorian calendar the year of his birth is not going to line up with years in either of those calendars. The fact that this was also a time when both Julian and Gregorian calendars were used, we have the possibility that figuring out what exact year it was when he was born may be very difficult.John Pack Lambert (talk) 14:33, 30 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
