Though not usable in Wikipedia, as it's original research WP:OR, according to FreeBMD, the births of two people named David Dyas were registered in West Riding of Yorkshire between 1945 and 1959 (commensurate with a circa-1974 to 1985 playing career); David A. Dyas (mothers' maiden name Place) birth registered during April→June 1953 in Hemsworth district, and David W.
