Notability problem
[edit]At this point, I'm not seeing sufficient sourcing here to pass our notability guidlines. Some of the sources are not third parties, such as the organization he was president of. His election to the presidency of CABA is referenced to a Los Angeles specialty paper -- local to him -- and his alma mater. CABA is not such a vital institution that holding the presidency of it is inherently notable; indeed, CABA does not appear to have a Wikipedia page for itself. Some of the sources are interviews that are gone from their original location and the video itself is not included at the archive location -- but given the title given the video, it seems that McFarlane was the interviewee but not the subject of the interview. I am having trouble accessing archive.today, so I cannot judge whether the blog that is archived there is even a usable source for a WP:BLP. As such, I am raising the notability flag to encourage better sources to be found. -- Nat Gertler (talk) 05:12, 20 August 2023 (UTC)
