Contested deletion

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because David Sutton Phelps, Jr. was a Southeastern Archaeologist who I am learning about at the University of Georgia in my Anthropology 4700 class. I have been assigned to create a Wikipedia page on him. The page should be completed with citations by 2pm today (december 6th)
