My name is Joey Hooser, I am very interested in starting a career with Jacobs engineering. I have one thing holding me back and it's my criminal record. All though my criminal record makes me seem like a bad guy, I'm not. I struggled with addiction for 8 years, I now have 4 years and 3 months clean and sober. I've made some mistakes in my past but that does not define who I am today. I am sending this message in regards of a chance to start a career for myself and be an asset to your company. I am a very hard worker, good listener, I learn fast, always on time, and if I don't know something I ask questions so that later on down the road I have a little knowledge of what I am doing. I currently work at MWM custom countertops and have been working there for almost 11 months. Even though I love my job I am looking to move up in jobs and provide a wealthy life for me and my family. I currently have a 7 year old girl and a baby on the way she will be here may 19th. I have alot of responsibility and providing a life for my kids, wife, and myself is what keeps me motivated to continue moving forward in life. I would really be honored to have the chance to work with Jacobs engineering. If there is any chance you guys could hire me even being a felon I would appreciate it so much. I currently live in grants pass Oregon, but am willing to travel anywhere in the state of Oregon for an opportunity to further better my life with Jacobs engineering. I don't care what kind of work you have me do I will do anything to get my foot in the door and prove that I am driven to be an asset to your company. I will scrub toilets or whatever it takes.
