Awards and criticism

[edit]

I see the awards, but I don't see anything related to criticism? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.40.82.109 (talk) 23:12, 21 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Charlie Hebdo and PEN

[edit]

Eisenberg has certainly been outspoken on regard to the PEN award to Charlie Hebdo through a published letter she wrote, and I think that this may warrant some coverage. However, at the moment we spend more time, through extensive quotes, on this one issue than we do on her biography and our account of her writing. This reads like undue emphasis on a single event. I'd like to remove the quotes, and trim it back to a statement along the lines that she had been controversially outspoken against Charlie Hebdo being given an award. While the quotes do provide context, a link to the letter would allow a reader to gain that without placing undue weight on this controversy. - Bilby (talk) 23:24, 28 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
