I will keep this as short and sweet as possible, but having served directly under, at that time, Col Holland in the 130th Brigade, I can say she is without a doubt one of the hardest working and smartest people you will ever meet. I don't think Mam has ever sat down or stopped moving. It didn't matter regular joe or CO she made SURE you felt noticed and taken care of. The kind of leadership Col Holland demonstrated is the type Hollywood uses in movies to prove a point. There are not many things in life I would repeat over and over, but serving and I use the term serving, because it never felt like work, but being allowed to serve for such a tremendous person is something id do for the rest of my life if possible.
