Title[edit]

Given that the original series ran far longer than the revival has (at present), wouldn't it be more appropriate to use the title Does the Team Think? rather than the version with the dots at the end? Jon Rob (talk) 14:38, 6 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

TV version[edit]

In about 1982, a TV version of Does the Team Think? aired. Jimmy Edwards, who devised it, was a regular on the panel, along with Jilly Cooper. I think it ran for either one or two series, and was on the British ITV network. I am not sure which company made the programme, though Thames, Granada, Central or TVS seem most likely.EmleyMoor (talk) 12:20, 30 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Panel Members.[edit]

The article names 4 regular panel members: Jimmy Edwards,Arthur Askey,Ted Ray, and Tommy Trinder and then says there was a fourth guest panellist, including Cardew Robinson,Cyril Fletcher etc. This is confusing. Did three regulars change during the run or did they rotate with the guests appearing less regularly. My recollection is that Arthur Askey was one of the guests with Edwards, Ray and Trinder being the regulars, but I have no sources as to this. My recollection is that Edwards, Ray and Trinder were always the loudest and most talkative and the guests (particularly Cyril Fletcher) rarely got a word in. Does any body have any sources to resolve the confusion? .Spinney Hill (talk) 10:02, 13 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The sources seem to deal with this and I have altered the text. The special guests were questioners like the audience members who asked questions. Edwards, Trinder and Ray were the regulars and there was another panellist, usually Askey but often Cyril Fletcher and sometimes one of the others. I think at one stage Askey and Fletcher alternated.
