[edit]It's late and I'm turning in for the night, but I wanted to let anyone who is interested know that this page on Don Higginbotham, who recently died, is accurate. I've never started an entry on wikipedia before, so I'll appreciate any guidance I might receive. My goal is to establish a well-documented page the will constitute a permanent memorial to Don Higginbotham's life and works. Rmsmcd (talk) 08:01, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
Be carefull, as soon as you can check out WP:NOTMEMORIAL and WP:BIO and try to establish reliable sources of notability, this is what the article must achieve.--Triwbe (talk) 08:35, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
"His 1971 book, The War of American Independence: Military Attitudes, Policies, and Practice, was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize and remains the standard account of the war and its effects on society." This is a big claim to go unsupported. I would expect a footnote to support a claim like that.50.0.36.172 (talk) 04:19, 23 March 2015 (UTC)
