Company/product split

[edit]

I would assume that DCC Doppelmayr Cable Car would be the cable car product of DCC. I see that most of the content has been removed (that was relating to the product; has this been moved to a new page or just deleted wholesale? The information about the product was more useful/interesting than the company!

Perhaps this should be moved to ... company. Although how this relates to the term Cable Linear Shuttle (is that the offical name for the product family) I'm still uncertain. —Sladen (talk) 12:25, 11 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As far as I can see DCC Doppelmayr Cable Car IS the name of the company, so this article should talk about the products here in a generic fashion using prose not bullet points. The way it was written was suitable for a sales brochure not an encyclopaedia article. --Allemandtando (talk) 12:39, 11 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yup, I'm happy that DCC Doppelmayr Cable Car is the name of the company; the range of rope-powered people movers appear to be called CABLE Liner, so I've moved the content there and started rewriting/organising it there—though it needs more work, so please dive it. —Sladen (talk) 13:09, 11 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
