I'm sorry to be a noob.... but reference number 1 only links to two different wikipedia articles and does not seem to be a source where the information cited can be referenced to.

I'm interested in seeing a reliable source for whether or not the artists from XX had anything to do with the production of the song other than having their song sampled by the individuals who created the track. Am I missing something here? 76.16.108.117 (talk) 22:03, 3 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. References are not bounded to be internet-verifiable. They can make reference to printed material such as books, magazines and other info (such as an album's booklet) that are not on the internet for some purposes, like copyright violation or plagiarism, and then might be cited without a proper link.
