The pronunciation of greek and latin (first edition?)

[edit]

Hi, I've noted a work by Sturtevant which is The pronunciation of greek and latin but I don't know anything about the first edition. I have had in my hands just two editions (1, 2) from my University Library but I cannot now read the preface to corroborate what the first edition is. So, if anyone knows where and when it was edited, please write it in the bibliography section. Thanks.--87.223.147.47 (talk) 12:42, 1 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Goetze-Wittmann law

[edit]

A very strange entry with two separate links to different linguists, the latter being a specialist on Quebec French. Any googling points to this article or a bunch of exact copy-paste occurences of the whole phrase, whereas Centum_and_satem_languages article completely lacks any mention. This is doubly strange regarding much more obvious things were expelled from WP due to lack of reliable sources.--213.208.170.194 (talk) 07:54, 1 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
