Format of years lived in the lead

Is "1750-1754–1804" formatted correctly? It looks like it could throw some readers off. Perhaps use "1750/4–1804" instead? Or something else? Stevie is the man! ^{Talk • Work} 20:46, 10 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
