Odessa

[edit]

Surely, Odessa was not a part of the USSR by the time Furtseva was born.--91.14.175.156 (talk) 18:14, 28 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Family

[edit]

I think this article should mention her family. The article on Eduard Streltsov mentions her having a daughter who was 16 in early 1957, and said that Streltsov's comments about her daughter humiliated Furtseva and links this by association to his later conviction for rape of another girl.--Toddy1 (talk) 09:16, 21 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Photo

[edit]

Yekaterina Furtseva was really pretty. Please can we have a photo, preferably before she got old.--Toddy1 (talk) 09:17, 21 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Khrushchev’s mistress?

[edit]

The BBC quotes a suggestion that she was Khrushchev’s mistress. If that is substantiated elsewhere — I know not whether it is — would that be worthy of mention? JDAWiseman (talk) 11:05, 21 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The source does not really say it. According to this book, she actually plotted against Khrushev, together with KGB boss Vladimir Semichastny, and she was involved in attempts by KGB to recruit Oswald who killed Kennedy (and to deny the recruitment). My very best wishes (talk) 23:53, 10 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
