Request to not delete page[edit]

This article is dealing with an organization in Ohio and wish to keep this page up. This page should be kept up to help anyone who wants to know of an LGBT organization in ohio. Equality Ohio is an actual organization set in Columbus, Ohio. —Preceding unsigned comment added by JCHerron (talkcontribs) 17:53, 25 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've declined the proposed deletion of the article. While the article may be sent by others for discussion to "Articles for Deletion", it's unlikely, in my personal opinion, to be deleted based on notability concerns in view of the sources I've added to the article. Improving the article further, through the addition of information backed by reliable, secondary sources, will help that process further. Finally, please drop me a line if you see other, well, suspicious deletions like this one. (New account, one edit ever, but with a familiarity with Wikipedia deletion processes? I'm afraid that's a bit of a WP:DUCK situation.) One additional thing, for "Proposed Deletions" (not "articles for deletion"), you may, yourself, remove the "proposed deletion" template if you feel that an article should not be deleted. The proposed deletions process is only for uncontroversial deletions, and if you think it's done in error, it's not uncontroversial. Drop me a line on my talk page if you have any further concerns or questions, thanks! --je deckertalk 18:47, 25 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Disambig request[edit]

This article currently has a link to a disambig page sex reassignment. I'm uncertain which is the preferred link for this item. If someone could adjust to the correct ambig wikilink, that'd be great. Thanks! ZueJay (talk) 06:17, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see the reference anymore. --je deckertalk 03:19, 26 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Tone[edit]

The only thing that concerns me about the tone here is the last sentence of the first paragraph. I'll take a shot tonight but I'm off for T'giving dinner. If someone wants to work on it before I get back, either directly quote the mission statement, or alternatively reword less promotionally. --je deckertalk 19:21, 25 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed. --je deckertalk 03:19, 26 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
