Misleading

[edit]

People need to watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FaoJErxYLtM I work in a computer shop and often will get abandoned computers as people dispose of them or upgrade.

The units I have either operable are fitted with a new hard drive and fresh install of whatever Windows the key is was using either their disc, or an iso of one, since those don't scratch. The ones that are inoperable, I will peel the key from and use on new builds, or sell to customers wanting keys for no longer sold OSes.

This isn't much different than what Lundgren was doing. No piracy, no counterfeiting. Using what already, and legally are what is needed for installing their software.2605:A000:BCD0:F600:9CFA:D66F:670B:6E13 (talk) 06:13, 24 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

GSS (talk · contribs), what evidence to you have for adding the template targeting Dmelow (talk · contribs)? Accusations should be supported with evidence and if not, removed, in accordance with our policy of assuming good faith. I noticed that Sakkura (talk · contribs) removed your template initially. @ImperfectlyInformed and GSS:I was wondering the same. I went through the article and it is fairly neutral and well-sourced. It does need some tuning to make it more encyclopedic. I have the sense that the article is OK now. Should we remove the template? ThatMontrealIP (talk) 07:09, 17 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I removed the UPE tag as I cannot see any evidence of paid editing. Happy to discuss.ThatMontrealIP (talk) 07:35, 17 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
