Speedy Deletion?[edit]

Untitled[edit]

No reason given for speedy deletion, I assume it's because the singer is deemed to be non-notable... well I think he is, I mean look at the bio for Mr Big, the band he fronts... not exactly globally huge, but they had their share of hits anyway... I say keep it. NaLaochra 05:31, 14 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Removed Speedy Tag[edit]

Mr. Big was quite popular from the late '80s through the mid-'90s. Their lead singer is definitely notable. --Bugwit grunt / scribbles 04:09, 15 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Eric Martin[edit]

Although suprisingly best remembered perhaps for his leading edge smash hit "Addicted to That Rush", i am pretty certain that Eric Martin lives in and was raised in Santa Clara, Ca., though questionable at best. --Breatheox (talk) 01:28, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure who you are thinking of but it isn't this guy. This guy is best remembered for "To Be With You" which is somehow not mentioned on Martin's bio. As one of the few people in America who probably knows all the lyrics to it's b-side ("Green Tinted Sixties Mind") let's just say I was (and remain) a massive fan of that song. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Oregondave74 (talkcontribs) 16:22, 7 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Eric certainly was not born in 1960. He was born about 1957. His father (or step-father?) was a doctor in the U.S. Army stationed in Vicenza, Italy around 1968-69. I knew him then. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2603:9000:650A:79EF:C450:3505:378B:3792 (talk) 22:02, 9 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Needs editing![edit]

Martin is clearly notable, for two separate bands including the very notable Mr. Big. But note the first paragraph—the quality of those Comedy Workshop performances is highly subject to opinion, and "brilliant" and "best" can't be substantiated. That's a fluff piece, and not in keeping with Wikipedia standards. 98.211.44.211 (talk) 12:21, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Work with T-Square?[edit]

I have one of T-Square's albums, 33, and the bonus disc version of that album, includes a song Tell The Truth - 安藤まさひろ Feat. Eric Martin Upon searching the article, I can't find anything on this. It can be included in his work from 2004-2007. Importpunch (talk) 08:22, 17 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"ruined voice"[edit]

I remember an interview with Eric Martin in the early nineties when he said he ruined his voice trying to sound like ... [somebody I didn't know then and therefore didn't memorize]. Does anyone remember that interview? Whose voice did he try to imitate? --84.177.33.157 (talk) 20:38, 23 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
