Isn't his name Erich Überlacker? --Gwafton (talk) 18:56, 2 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Not according to [1]. DMacks (talk) 18:57, 2 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I guess you are right, he is Übelacker, at least most sources claim so. I'll have to review my own articles too... --Gwafton (talk) 19:04, 2 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Erich Übelacker's son, also named Erich and Austrian, has confirmed that his father was born in Vienna, Austria, and not in Germany.Heckmotor97 (talk) 13:36, 6 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

We need a proper source for the nationality. Actually all references regarding his nationality should be removed from the article until we have got a source which can be cited to.

Ivan Margolius, co-author of "Tatra - The Legacy of Hans Ledwinka" has spoken with Übelacker's son, as I reported last year, and established that his father was Austrian. Much has been written with the man wrongly described as German, but what more need be said? Heckmotor97 (talk) 12:07, 29 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
