The article is "not" about a Captain in the Spanish Army. It is about a Captain in the Spainsh Army who was awarded the Laureate Cross of Saint Ferdinand, the highest military decoration awarded by the Spanish government. It is bestowed on a member of the Spanish armed forces who distinguishes himself during combat and is Spain's equivalent to the American Medal of Honor. If he wasn't notable King Alfonso XIII of Spain wouldn't have unveiled a bust with his likeness and named a street in his honor in the town of Molina de Aragon on July 5, 1928. Plus, in 1956, the city of Guadalajara in Spain, wouldn't have named a street in his honor.[1] In Melilla, Morocco a military barracks "Capitan Arenas" was named in his honor.[2] He is also featured in the "Who's Who in Balloning".[3]. Finally, Felix Arenas Gaspar meets all of the notability requirements established by Wikipedia.
