Fair use rationale for Image:Fandango.jpg[edit]

Image:Fandango.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Trivia[edit]

Wikipedia discourages Trivia sections, especially unsourced ones so I've moved it here until it can be sourced and integrated into other sections.--J.D. (talk) 17:48, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Reynolds and Costner would later go on to film two more movies together, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and Waterworld which would actually result in the two parting ways over creative and personal differences. Costner and Reynolds also did an episode of the Spielberg produced anthology series Amazing Stories called "The Mission". Reynolds was Costner's uncredited second unit director and set advisor for the western epic and Costner directorial debut Dances with Wolves.
  • The soundtrack features music by Pat Metheny and Lyle Mays, among others.
  • Sam Robards and Suzy Amis, who played an engaged couple, later married in real life.
  • The supposed backdrop of downtown Dallas where Truman Sparks flies to is the city of Tulsa in 1984/85.
  • Marvin J. McIntyre, aka Truman Sparks, made his OWN first skydive on Sep 9th 2007, at The Blue Sky Ranch in Gardiner, NY.

Corrections Needed[edit]

I'm not sure who wrote this but there are a few errors worth noting. As the Production notes stated, the student movie was "Proof" and it was in color, not black and white. Some of the sequencing is a little out of whack too. The wedding was called off before the road trip started and it was Gardner that asked "How are we gonna stop?" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.65.114.135 (talk) 07:36, 10 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
