This page needs to be flagged - it was likely written by the Pena-Mora himself and lacks independent sources for most of its claims. This article does not conform to Wikipedia's standards. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.195.102.37 (talk) 02:01, 4 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Clean-up or Cover-Up?

[edit]

First, I agree with the previous comment: claims are not supported by independent sources. Sounds like a C.V.

Second, the only critical paragraph in the entire page is "cleaned up"--the day after it was entered--to make the number of critics seem less. I think 99% of the faculty can accurately be described as "an overwhelming majority" don't you Jesse? Is that percentage correct?

This is a man with political ambitions using euphemisms like "diversity" and "technology" to be ruthless. Right now he is destroying the city agency he leads: giving high-paid positions of authority to inexperienced, unqualified people and driving out the real talent and knowledge. What the city saves by shorting well-earned pensions, it looses in multiples through the waste of taxpayers money on errors and huge salaries accompanying jobs given as political favors, including to those with close ties to firms that get big city contracts. Perhaps you were correct to remove the phrase "self-serving" but the term is accurate. He does not care about the city or its people. He is all about himself. Please review WP:NPOV and WP:COI and then come back. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a soapbox. JesseRafe (talk) 21:45, 16 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Also, Eduardo, before you go around making accusations, could you trouble yourself to do the most basic and simple research possible? In the not too distant past I removed needless fluff and peacocking and bragging weasel words from this article that clearly served to aggrandize Dr Pena-Mora beyond the bounds of basic neutral reporting. This can easily be seen on the "View History" tab or here: Overlong and over-detailed, COI or NPOV? and seems to have been copied and pasted from a CV. Please, learn how to be WP:CIVIL before talking to grown-ups on here. You don't know what side people are on. JesseRafe (talk) 22:05, 16 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
