Wavy vs. Nebuly

It is neither logical nor heraldic that the wavy lines represent clouds as stated in the second interpretation. There is a perfectly good design for clouds (known as nebuly), as can be seen on Brisbane's coat-of-arms. What would be the connection between Brisbane and the sky peeking through the clouds? No, the white wavy lines represent the sea and the river with which Brisbane has such an intimate connection. Caeruleancentaur (talk) 11:35, 19 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Caduceus

According to the article, "[t]he three caducei in these sections, rather than their usual association with medicine, again represent commerce..."

As far as I'm aware, the caduceus has little to nothing to do with medicine. That's the rod of Æsculapius. Am I wrong here or should the article be altered? --JadziaLover ^{(talk | contribs)} 11:37, 19 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You are correct, but you misquoted the line in the article. It reads, "...rather than their popular but ERRONEOUS association with medicine..." The author has already stated that it is a false association. There is no need to alter the article. Caeruleancentaur (talk) 13:59, 19 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Six quarterings
