[edit]I have noticed that it doesn't describe just why Freedon Nadd couldn't be the new Dark Lord, unless there was one and I didn't pay close enough attention to the entry. Unless Lord Sadow was still considered holder of the title there was apparently no Dark Lord of the Sith.
Dark Lord of the Sith
[edit]Was Freedon Nadd actually a Dark Lord of the Sith (DLotS)?
Back in the 1990s there were the Tales of the Jedi comics, in which it was stated that he was a fallen Jedi who had desired to be the DLotS, but for some reason (I can't remember at this time), he couldn't become one. That was why he wound up on Onderon, a relatively backwater planet in the grand scheme of the GFFA.
Have they (the EU writers) retconned this somewhere? Becoming a DLotS was a big deal back then- it was such a big deal that the last Dark Lord's ghost (Marka Ragnos) had to be summoned to 'crown' Exar Kun as the newest DLotS (and at that time, Kun was the last until Vader- but I realize that's already been thrown out).
