[edit]The expression "...killed by AIDS" occurs twice in the page's final paragraph. This might be considered POV language; I suggest it isn't encyclopedic. Am replacing with "died of..." and would appreciate discussion here. -- Deborahjay (talk) 07:27, 30 August 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Hello everyone, as part of my History of Sexualities class, I have made some pretty broad edits to the page, including deleting or rewording much of the plagiarism and repetition and adding much more information and secondary, rather than primary, sources. Some additions I made were about the GAI History Project and their anthology Living the Spirit (which was previously not even named in the article) and their advocacy of the "Two-Spirit" over "berdache."
