Say, BenHur. Why don't you register, get your name in blue and have a user's page so that I can telyou that you've done a great job here? Carptrash 06:30, 15 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

George Keller is my great grandfather. In none of our family records does he have a middle initial, of W or anything else. I've made all the changes I can but I'd really appreciate it if somebody who knew how could fix the URL to reflect this also. Thanks. Scalefree (talk) 16:01, 24 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm the user who created the George Keller page. Thank you for your correction in removing the W. The information for the article is based on my notes from a paper I had written several years earlier. I honestly can't say where the W came from or what caused me to interpose it as an initial. Once it was removed I reviewed my notes and later the biography from which I took much of my information about your relative, and I could find no W. Again, thank you for correcting my inaccuracy and I apologize for the error. Benhur767 (talk) 14:17, 26 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
SIRIS (Smithsonian Institution Research Information System) lists him with the middle initial "W". That may be why the idea persists. BoringHistoryGuy (talk) 23:13, 1 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
