Birthplace
[edit]Some sources claim Gerhard Bremer was born on May 25th 1917 in Saarbrücken but do not give details about his early years, while a lot of sources support he was born on July 27th 1917 in Düsternthal, in the former Gandersheim District, among them all sources that give details about his family or early life, like which schools he attended or his fathers position. Has anyone a real authority on this? The German sources seem to favor the Gandersheim birthplace, even de:Delligsen, where Düsternthal (today Düsterntal) is located, lists him as being born there, and I tend to agree with this view.--Micge (talk) 15:46, 23 April 2014 (UTC)
