Gompers?[edit]

Not sure why Sam Gompers is listed here. His page, as well as other online sources like Find-a-Grave, have him buried in Sleepy Hollow cemetery in New York. Lafong (talk) 02:58, 5 October 2011 (UTC)

Rfc: Rename?[edit]

Hi, While understanding the historical importance of the name, Waldheim Cemetery, I wonder if at this time it would make sense to rename this article, Forest Home Cemetery, which also has a legacy dating to 1873 and by which the combined cemetery is known today. Thanks, DA Sonnenfeld (talk) 09:50, 20 June 2016 (UTC)

The article should probably be moved to the cemetery's current name. There's a redirect at Forest Home Cemetery, Chicago, but I think WP:TITLE favors Forest Home Cemetery (Chicago) (as you proposed). — MShabazz Talk/Stalk 11:04, 20 June 2016 (UTC)
  • Rename My first reaction to just about anything is, "What do my books say?" Hucke & Bielski's Graveyards of Chicago have it as Forest Home/German Waldheim Cemetery, which is a bit more than is needed, so I'll go with Forest Home etc. Einar aka Carptrash (talk) 18:30, 10 July 2016 (UTC)
  • Support rename per my previous comment, which pre-dates the RfC. — MShabazz Talk/Stalk 18:41, 10 July 2016 (UTC)
