How does one play this? Kittybrewster 11:59, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
- It's available as an audio CD [1], possibly occasionally repeated (try BBC Radio 7), sometimes available in binary newsgroups MikesPlant 14:36, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
- There's directions on obtaining and then installing the Ogg codec to play audio samples here: Wikipedia:Media help (Ogg).
- If you are using Windows then go straight to Step 2 and download the codec from [Illiminable] (the Ogg Codecs for windows - Windows All Versions - 824,901 bytes - Download Now one). When the file has downloaded, run the setup program to install it.
- Then click on the Wikipedia excerpt-link and the audio file will be offered to you to either open or save to your hard disk. Choose 'Save' and wait for it to download.
- When the file has downloaded, right-click on it and select Open With, then Windows Media Player and it will play. Ian Dunster 09:29, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
Hyphen?
[edit]Does Giles Wemmbley- (or )Hogg have a hyphen? On the CD cover, on the leaflet inside, and on the official website, it doesn't; but, as with other posh names, and on the official website, it does. --Islomaniac 973 21:53, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
Unverifiable
[edit]Because the episode list is unverifiable, I cannot tell if [2] is vandalism or not. In cases where it's impossible to determine vandalism from accurate information, I think it best to remove the information completely per WP:V. --Ronz (talk) 16:45, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
- 'Postcards' from the frist series are available at Marcus Brigstocke's website. They appear to corroborate at least the first series. Pontificake (talk) 18:16, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the link. I've added back the episode list in the hope that more verification is forthcoming. --Ronz (talk) 19:38, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
- Added new external link. TimR (talk) 21:52, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
Class
[edit]G.W-H. is described as being upper class. I don't think he is--upper middle at most. 86.178.24.52 (talk) 13:44, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
