I've tidied up these removing the spam and adverts for thinks which are not really encyclopedic. I've moved some into the references. This is the old list if anyone wants to refer to them. SuzanneKn 13:49, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pictures of Gillingham

[edit]

I think the article could do with one or two pictures of around Gillingham, I'll have to pop into town and take some. Wills316 (talk) 13:41, 29 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I hope your project to take a picture of Gillingham (just entering its fourth year) is going well. :) I've put a picture in the infobox, and there's another 100-odd geograph pictures over at Commons, so if you want to add one or two more, there's plenty to choose from. Named after Gylla

[edit]

I notice that Gillingham, Kent was also named for a notable person called Gylla. Might this be the same person? Or was Gylla a common name? Valetude (talk) 19:55, 22 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The source lists 3 places with this name (there's also one in Norfolk) and doesn't make any claim that they're the same person. PaleCloudedWhite (talk) 20:21, 22 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
