Known as the "tenore di donne", which had a double meaning

What double meaning? I can only see one obvious one - "the tenor of ladies", meaning he appealed to the ladies because of his good looks and sweet-toned voice. Orlando098 (talk) 08:00, 9 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
