Mr. Vaad was nominated to serve on the Colorado Public Utilities Commission in December 2014, and began serving as a commissioner in January 2014. ^[1]

Representative Vaad was designated as Colorado Legislator of the year in 2012 by the American Legislative Exchange Council ^[2]
