Is this article a redirect or not? Globlex F.C. redirects to BTU United F.C., but there is still content on this article's page. There is also a non-free image File:Globlex football club logo, Jan 2016.jpg being used whose use would likely be non-compliant with WP:NFCC if the redirect is correct. If it's a redirect, then not sure if simply blanking the page is sufficient or if an administrator needs to be involved. -- Marchjuly (talk) 07:40, 2 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It seems to me like this IP's intent was to redirect the article to BTU United F.C., but they failed to blank the content along with it. My advice would be to just blank the content and let the redirect stand unless someone has a problem with that. The content is still preserved in the history, and if someone wants to write a fleshed out article about Globlex F.C. as it existed before BTU United F.C. took over, they can. But the article currently has a whopping zero reliable sources, so there's not much to preserve. Found two more at Sriracha F.C. and Ban Bueng United F.C.. It looks like the same IP (158.108.78.91)) making the redirects. Not sure why they are making these directs, but some of them lead to fairly recently created team articles directly added to the mainspace. -- Marchjuly (talk) 08:15, 3 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I would say that if the redirect is a reasonable one, then delete everything following it having made sure that is is adequately covered at the target article. If the redirect is not reasonable then delete the redirect. If anyone else thinks the redirect is reasonable, the proper course is to start a discussion on the talk page.
