Expansion plans

[edit]

The airport's plans to expand need to be documented, but this is a seriously contentious issue and balanced coverage is essential, as are robust citations. I think it would be particularly useful if we had a link to the Five Year Plan. Also I believe a local council conducted a survey of resident's views on the airport, does anyone have a copy of the results? Behind The Wall Of Sleep 10:10, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately we're getting more POV content on this article. Campofhope, it might be worth reading WP:NOT and in particular WP:SOAP - this isn't a campaign web site. I welcome the attempt to source some of the claims, but sadly the links to the documentary sources don't work (the servers don't even resolve in DNS from where I'm sitting); and blogs and personal web space are not considered adequately robust sources for wikipedia (see WP:V and WP:SPS for some guidance in this area). What's left I will try to structure along the same lines as the rest of the article to make it a bit more readable. If anyone could have another shot at getting the 5yr plan linked in a working way that would be excellent! Behind The Wall Of Sleep 10:32, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not located in Staverton, but on the territory of Churchdown!

[edit]

The sentence "Gloucestershire Airport (IATA: GLO, ICAO: EGBJ), formerly Staverton Airport, is located at Staverton, England." is wrong. Even with the former name Airport Staverton, due to the fact that the village Staverton is close, actual the Airport is clear on the territory of the parish Churchdown. I correct it in the text. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Flk-Brdrf (talkcontribs) 10:14, 18 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
