Funny Wiki is so unreliable

[edit]

You would think an airline had folded up and closed its doors by this article. The "airline go!" that never was an airline in the first place is now gone. Ah wait no it is not.

The FAA certificated airline with the two letter IATA code YV is still flying. What was the IATA code for go! Ah YV! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.54.32.230 (talk) 03:27, 19 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup

[edit]

I just did some major cleanup on this article. The article is about an airline and not everyone who has a problem with it. Please follow WP:NPOV when adding material. Vegaswikian 18:51, 11 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fleet

[edit]

The fleet for go! is 5 CRJ-200s not 7. 4 active and one spare. 75.32.93.247 (talk) 03:15, 30 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No, it is seven now. Two were recently sent out to HNL to replace other aircraft that were to return to the mainland, but with the uncertain situation with Aloha, Mesa decided to keep all seven in Hawaii so that they can provide additional capacity should Aloha stop flying. See [1]. -- Hawaiian717 (talk) 18:46, 30 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

2008 incident

[edit]

In this edit [2] I have removed the commentary by Joseph Gutheinz. A few problems: 1. the removed material was not accurately paraphrased (e.g., "laid some of the blame for the Go-Airlines incident squarely on the shoulders of the FAA"); 2. the investigation on the incident was still underway when Gutheinz provided his opinion (e.g., the commentary was drive-by), 2.a. without knowing the results of the investigation, how do we know that Gutheinz's expertise is pertinent; 3. a whole paragraph on Gutheinz's commentary is WP:UNDUE and does not reflect proper WP:BALANCE to the article as a whole; 4. the Gutheinz material reflects a effort to promote him, as per his article and numerous other edits in the project where he is mentioned. – S.
