Why was it moved?
[edit]Surely 'Gompa' is the most common English spelling?--Michig (talk) 09:46, 6 November 2011 (UTC)
- Is this a known concept in English? With a search, I found some result about Tibetan Buddhism while some result irrelated. ––虞海 (Yú Hǎi) ✍ 10:14, 6 November 2011 (UTC)
- Same comment as Michig. I tried to move the page back to the original title (Gompa), but was afraid to make a mistake. Maybe some senior editor can help.--Pseudois (talk) 18:07, 8 November 2011 (UTC)
- Gompa is the standard name in English. Yu Hai is a disruptive editor with a long history of unilateral and controversial moves. The page should be moved back to Gompa as soon as possible. BabelStone (talk) 20:28, 8 November 2011 (UTC)

- Ok, this page has now had the same misfortune as Shishapangma (now Xixabangma). If you really want to get this page back to Gompa, don't make the same mistake we made at Shishapagma. Get an admin to move it back now...before placing a requested move template. Once a requested move discussion is initiated, you will never get it back to Gompa without a consensus and Yu Hai, as you have both pointed out, is not interested in reaching consensus.--Racerx11 (talk) 23:13, 8 November 2011 (UTC)
I looked at the history of this and moved Goinba back to Gompa for you all hoping that you all can work things out with 虞海. --Mike Cline (talk) 12:13, 9 November 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks Mike, your work here is greatly appreciated.--Racerx11 (talk) 22:52, 9 November 2011 (UTC)
