Blank Space

[edit]

Why is there a massive area of space that is blank in the "National Parks" section? --MickyCv900 06:32, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

Rainforest types

[edit]

I recently watched an Australian Geographic Best of Australia DVD (July - September 2008) about the World Heritage rainforests of Northern NSW. In the video a park ranger said the Gondwana Rainforests have 4 main types of rainforest. These were cool temperate rainforest, warm temperate rainforest, sub-tropical rainforest and dry forest. But Peter Garrett said in an October 2009 funding statement that there were 5 types of rainforest without mentioning them individually. Any suggestions, alternate references? - Shiftchange (talk) 08:08, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Logging did NOT take 99%

[edit]

"only 1% of the original range of the Gondwana rainforest remains in Australia." is incorrect, before white settlement, only 2% remained & logers halved that to 1%. Tubby.Lunchbox (talk) 06:46, 12 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
