[edit]The government section of the "Outline of Hungary" needs to be checked, corrected, and completed -- especially the subsections for the government branches.
When the country outlines were created, temporary data (that matched most of the countries but not all) was used to speed up the process. Those countries for which the temporary data does not match must be replaced with the correct information.
Please check that this country's outline is not in error.

[edit]There is increasing western concern over the commitment of the Hungarian government towards democratic values. Sources, like Freedom House and the European Parliament, claim Hungary is no longer a democratic country. There is constant attack by western media that Prime Minister Viktor Orban and his leading politicians openly use racist arguments, making the normalization of right-wing extremism a valid concern in case of Hungary. The fact that it is democratic, is obvious from the large majority it enjoys from the voting public, as indicate by the percentage of seats it has won in the house of parliament (2022 - 67,84%, 2018 - 66,83%, 2014 - 66,83 %, 2010 - 67,88%) and Representatives of the National Election Commission, the National Election Office, a non-governmental organisation, OSCE/ODIHR and in case there is doubt about the validity of the election, the Venice Commission participated in the election held in Hungary on 3 April 2022. The claim of racism in the above source (7), that "His (Orbán's) words sparked an immediate outcry, with the United States calling it "inexcusable," and Jewish community representatives voicing alarm" is a good example of western media misrepresentation of facts. The fact is that the Hungarian Government has sanctioned politicians that are racists and criticised the US ambassador to Hungary for his recent racial insensitivity.
