removed material
[edit]There is a significant amount of removed material currently in the article history, which I removed as unsourced. Eastmain kindly pointed out that some of it might be sourceable by following this link: http://news.google.com/archivesearch?um=1&cf=all&ned=ca&hl=en&q=%22Graham+Jones%22+Hyndburn&cf=all ++Lar: t/c 04:55, 25 January 2010 (UTC)
- I've removed a large amount more as despite the good faith attempts by the original poster (apparent his partner!) to write a balanced and sourced article there was simply too much emphasis on one an election campaign in a local area and his early years. But anyone fascinated by Hyndburn politics and the full details of Jones' life can find it here https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Graham_Jones_(politician)&oldid=600374593 Dtellett (talk) 15:51, 8 April 2015 (UTC)
Wording of his MP-ness
[edit]What is the preferred phrasing for his current status? I would say MP-elect or Member-elect of Parliament, but I'm not sure if that's the most common phrasing. I'm afraid to say he's an MP outright because of the hung parliament situation and the possibility of a revote. —C.Fred (talk) 16:43, 7 May 2010 (UTC)
There is an RfC on the question of using "Religion: None" vs. "Religion: None (atheist)" in the infobox on this and other similar pages.
The RfC is at Template talk:Infobox person#RfC: Religion infobox entries for individuals that have no religion.
Please help us determine consensus on this issue. --Guy Macon (talk) 17:15, 23 April 2015 (UTC)
