This article is in a poor state. There are no sources to any of the given claims. Furthermore, the unsourced part that reads "he spoke Hungarian, German, Slovak, Latin, Greek and Croatian fluently" was changed by removing "Slovak" but for some reason User:Norden1990 didn't bother with removing the rest as none of it was sourced, for whatever reason? User:Norden1990 also changed the sentence "the Thurzó family which was of Slovak ethnicity" which was unsourced, to "of Hungarian and Polish ethnicity" but didn't write down any sources himself again. It looks like User:Norden1990 only cherrypicked the part which didn't suit him and kept the rest for some odd reason. Normally the whole sentence should've been removed. The validity of the text is questionable.

I would like to point out though that Thurzo did indeed speak Slovak as there are several documents written by him in which some form of Slovak does appear, one document contains "nostra natio Slavica" i.e. our Slovak nation^[1]^[2]. I will wait some time until I re-do these strange changes but first I'm interested why they were made in the first place. Basserr (talk) 11:59, 16 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Red links[edit]

The large ammount of red linking makes this article appear not only poorly sourced (per the notice at the outset of the page), but also neglected, and less likely to be trustworthy. I don't care to edit war and remove them again but wanted to take a moment to address this. It makes more sense to create the articles, one by one, and then link them in as opposed to highlighting so many areas of the article with glaring visuals. As a visual processer, I don't think the red links serve to motivate readers to create articles - it just decreases the readability (for me). Obviously there are other opinions out there.
