Dutch?[edit]

As far as I can see, the names of the majority of characters in Nesser's books are not Dutch, but Flemish: They've spelled after the fashion of northern Belgium; not the Netherlands. However, all major Western and Central European languages are represented among the personal names of Nesser's characters. Also lots of place-names are taken from non-Flemish languages. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 200.62.105.200 (talk) 03:06, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nesser is not strictly a crime fiction writer. Sveral of his books have nothing to do with police inspectors or crime. (VsanoJ (talk) 17:05, 26 September 2008 (UTC)).[reply]

A strange event, a big man with a big dog cought my vision,I missed that the red light turned to green, smile. That same morning I had been reading through all the parts of the story that was missed because of my stay by the sea, this hot summer. While getrting home the realisation came about, it was the writer, hihihihi, smile. A funny, and joyful event, a contrast to the story in the paper, though it is serious, the child looked in away from her father by anorexia, or some other illness. Anyhow the last part will be published tomorrow morning. He is a great writer, I wonder if he knows the end himself, that makes the thrill! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.233.223.215 (talk) 22:28, 12 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
